Day 1 - Sunday (D)

 

Depart Brisbane 07:30 on a Greyhound coach from the Greyhound terminal Roma Street Station Brisbane bound for Toowoomba.  Arrive in Toowoomba at 09:40 where you will be transferred onto the Coach Qld Coach service to Cunnamulla departing Toowoomba at 10:30.  On arrival at Charlotte Plains Farm stay, Cunnamulla you will be met by your guide taken to your night’s accommodation and given dinner around the campfire under the stars.  Overnight Farm Stay camping in swag under the stars.

Day 2 - Monday (B, L, D)

 

Today Station owners Robyn and Reid Russell will personally show you this magnificent property with the bore head where you will camp tonight.  See an abundance of bird and wildlife all in its natural environment.  You will learn to make “Billy Tea” and “Damper” from a true blue Aussie.  There will be many photo opportunities as you look at the spectacular sunset with the historical “Turnworth” bore in the foreground.  With natures mineral rich artesian waters at your disposal why not jump in relax and soak up all the goodness of the warm artesian waters in natures very own spa bath.  Tonight you will be served culinary delights in a magnificent outback setting.  You will enjoy the evening sitting around the camp fire sharing a yarn with station owners, Robyn and Reid about their journeys and experiences and listening to some great bush poetry.  Overnight Farm Stay camping in swag under the stars.

Day 3 - Tuesday (B, L, D)

 

Depart Charlotte Plains for Cunnamulla, take a historical town tour and visit local industry including state of the art organic farming.  Sit back relax and enjoy a sunset boat cruise on the Warrego River with a local.  You will see lots of bird and wildlife as you soak up the tranquil ambience.  Tonight’s dinner will be a grand feed of roasted locally grown organic lamb and veg while you sit back with a cool drink and enjoy the local entertainment.  Overnight Cunnamulla camping in swag under the stars.

Day 4 - Wednesday (B)

 

See the town’s development unfold before you very eyes on a historic tour of the cemetery which will highlight some of the towns many legends.  Complete an Aussie Pub crawl around the local’s favourite watering holes.  Overnight Cunnamulla camping in swag under the stars.


Day 5 - Thursday (B)

 

 

 

 

Rise early for breakfast before bidding a fond farewell depart Cunnamulla at 06:45 and arrive in Toowoomba at 16:00, connect to Greyhound service depart Toowoomba 17:00 and arrive in Brisbane 18:40

What’s Included

Meals
All meals are provided on the tour including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner each day as outlined in the itinerary.  Special dietary requirements can be accommodated please confirm at time of booking.

 

Transfers/Entries  – Collection  to and from accommodation included daily.  All entries are included as per itinerary.

Accommodation – All accommodation on the tour is camping in a swag under the stars in a good mix of natural bushland settings and camping grounds.  Swags and bedding provided.  All site fees included.

Travel – Travel to and from Cunnamulla on Greyhound / Coach Qld ex Brisbane is included in the price.  Travel during the tour is included in our mini coach.
