Thursday (M’T, L, A’T)

08:00 coach departure from Out the Back Australia, Cunnamulla.  Visit Allan Tannock Weir and experience the magnificent Warrego River.  Arrive at Glencoe station, visit the sheep yards and shearing shed and see a real-life working property.  Sample a traditional bush smoko of “Billy tea and Damper” with the station owners Hugh and Helen Miller.  Watch the working sheep dogs bring in the sheep and then learn all about wool production including shearing a sheep.  On return to Cunnamulla embark on a historical of Cunnamulla including local industries such as organic farming.  Watch the history of the town unfold and hear about the many legends of the past as you weave your way on a historical tour of the town’s cemetery.  Return to Out the Back Gallery Cafe where you can feel free to tour the photographic display of Stephanie Mills at your own leisure.  Use the facilities, grab a bite to eat or refreshing drink at the Cafe or check out the range of gifts, souvenirs and services available.

Travel – Price excludes travel to and from Cunnamulla the starting point for the tour.  Travel options to and from Cunnamulla include: Train “Westlander” or “CountryLink”; Air – Skytrans or QantasLink; Bus – Greyhound/Coach Qld; Self drive – sealed highways from Brisbane and Sydney.  Travel during the tour is included in our mini coach.
