Visit Allan Tannock Weir and experience the magnificent Warrego River and then Cunnamulla’s heritage cemetery where you will hear all the stories of past legends of the town. Depart for the morning’s adventures at Rocky Station. Another opportunity to stroll along the banks of the Warrego River on the “Wallaby Walk” so keep your eyes open and be quiet so you can spot one of these cute little fellas often seen at the water’s edge. Act out your “Indiana Jones” fantasy and navigate your way across the 70 metre swinging footbridge, never before open to the public. Arriving at the homestead, have morning tea and relish in the friendly country hospitality offered by station owners Chris and Mike Webster. On return to Cunnamulla embark on a historical of Cunnamulla including local industries such as organic farming. Watch the history of the town unfold and hear about the many legends of the past as you weave your way on a historical tour of the town’s cemetery. Return to Out the Back Gallery Cafe where you can feel free to tour the photographic display of Stephanie Mills at your own leisure. Use the facilities, grab a bite to eat or refreshing drink at the Cafe or check out the range of gifts, souvenirs and services available.
That concludes your outback adventure!
